Art of Guiding a Two-Day Course for Tourist Guide Practical Skills

The “Art of Guiding” is a 2-full day training course delivered by the European Federation of Tourist Guide Association (FEG) trainers. It is an interactive programme to allow sharing of best practice. It is of interest to all practicing tourist guides.

This course offers an opportunity to all tourist guides to go back to basics. It covers all the main elements of the practical guiding skills and communication techniques we use in our daily work.

It is a thought-provoking and stimulating update that will enliven and enhance guiding commentaries.

All qualified tourist guides are eligible to attend.

The course includes classroom teaching and outdoor practical exercises.

General Information

The programme consists of 2-full days of training. It covers a range of development activities, essential in any guide training programme. The skills gained are transferable to many tourist guiding situations.

Programme trainers are FEG accredited. To achieve best possible results the number of the course participants is limited.

All trainees of the “Art of Guiding Course” will be awarded a FEG e-certificate of attendance.
